Brooklyn Wainwright is more than happy to restore an antique cookbook for her sister Savannah, a renowned chef. But when she finds handwritten notes and strange, indecipherable symbols in the margins, she suggests the book belongs in a museum. Savannah insists on giving the book to an old friend as a gift. But soon afterwards the friend is found dead, the cookbook is missing, and the writing on the wall spells murder.
